Minority CareerTech Teacher/Recruitment Retention Scholarship
Mission Statement:  To recruit, retain and support ethnic minorities pursuing a college major leading to teacher certification in the Oklahoma CareerTech System. The Minority Teacher Recruitment/Retention scholarship is sponsored by the CareerTech Foundation.  Please note that incumbent teachers working towards certification are now eligible.  Contact Lisa Eden, 405-743-5453.   Deadline is June 5.

 

Oklahoma Association of Minorities in Career and Technical Education Scholarship
One of the goals of OAMCTE scholarship program is to provide assistance to deserving minority students who plan to further their education through CareerTech. Please contact Patti Pouncil at 918-352-2551 ext 285 for more information. Deadline is May 9.

Funds for Teachers

The time is drawing near for anyone interested in applying for the Fund for Teachers Scholarship. Fund for Teachers enriches the personal and professional growth of teachers by recognizing and supporting them as they identify and pursue opportunities around the globe that will have the greatest impact on their practice, the academic lives of their students and on their school communities.

Casy Cundiff Outstanding Student Award

Purpose The Oklahoma Association of Career and Technology Education (OkACTE)/Special Needs Division (SND) is offering a student financial award to acknowledge the achievement of a career and technology student(s) who is a member of a special population and has overcome barriers to achieve his/her highest potential for success. The purpose for this student award is to assist this student to access or complete a career and technology education program. Awards between $300 and $500 will be made depending upon funds available and number of awards presented.
