Angela Wade
Angela Wade, Student Services Coordinator at Southern Oklahoma Technology Center, Ardmore, serves as the Educational Services – Special Populations President for 2008-2009. Angela received her Bachelor of Science in Education, Chemistry Emphasis with a Minor in Mathematics from Oklahoma Baptist University. While teaching science at Ardmore High School, she obtained a Master of Education in School Counseling from East Central University. After teaching at AHS for eight years, Angela began her CTE career as a physics instructor at SOTC.
Brian Leaver
Brian Lever is an Academic Math Instructor at Metro Tech Spring Lake Campus. He has been employed in the Career Tech system for five years and has been in education teaching for fifteen years including higher education and public school. One area Brian excels in is offering special needs students additional resources with online courses. Past offices held include serving three years as Diversity Action Committee Chair for the Special Needs Division. He is currently serving as chair for OkACTE Diversity Action Committee.
Traci Thorpe
Traci Thorpe is a Director of Instruction at Pioneer Technology Center. Her responsibilities include coordinating the SHARE Program (drop-out recovery) and supervising the federal and special programs at Pioneer Tech. She has been working with the SHARE Program since its beginning in 1998. Traci has been involved in a number of professional activities at Pioneer Technology Center. Robert Henson
Robert Henson is the coordinator of the Career Center at Francis Tuttle Technology Center, Reno Campus. His responsibilities include tutoring, student portfolio management, facilitating KeyTrain student sessions for WorkKeys assessment, and administering competency exams. Over the last year, he has served as the Reporter for OkACTESND.
Mary Scott
Mary Scott is the Adult Basic Education, GED and ESL Coordinator for Pioneer Technology Center in Ponca City. She has been employed in the Career Tech System for sixteen years. Past offices Mary has held include President of OkACTESND, and PAC/Legislative Committee Representative and she is currently serving as Secretary of the Special Needs Division.
Kahle Goff
Hi, I'm Kahle Goff your advisor for the Education Services Special Populations Division of OkACTE. Here is a little about me to help you get to know me a little better. I have been in education for over a decade now. I began my career instructing adult male inmates for Chisholm Trail Technology Center at the Diamondback Correctional Facility in Watonga, OK. From there I moved to the Occupational Services Instructor position at Gordon Cooper Technology Center where I taught students with special needs building maintenance skills.
